reflection and summary
I met the criteria for this standard by using the different layer types for lines in AutoCAD. I was able to complete every assignment that was given to me by my instructor. To do these assignments I had to know how to use different layers and colors for lines. This has real world application because if I want to be an architect or engineer in the future, I have to know commands such as trim, hidden lines, object lines, circles, perpendicular, reflect, and offset. It is important to understand the meaning behind each line and command so that others may view your drawing and know exactly what each part of the drawing means. I really enjoyed this standard because it did not get very complex, yet it was very important knowledge. It was also interesting to see that many different processes can be built off of this base knowledge of entity properties and the setup of drawings.
